Ophthalmology Specialist Physician Wanted

We are looking for a newly qualified specialist physician in ophthalmology who wants to work in our emergency department.

About the Position

The Eye Emergency Department is open every day from 8 AM to 4 PM. The Eye Emergency Department handles accidents and other acute vision-threatening conditions and eye problems that require prompt management.

We are looking for someone who is engaged and wants to help develop the glaucoma area. The position also includes educating and teaching. You will also be part of S:t Erik's overall preparedness and on-call operations.

Qualifications

You are a specialist physician in ophthalmology with a broad interest in ophthalmology. You are accustomed to making clinical decisions independently and see it as a positive challenge to organize and participate in supervised clinics with resident physicians. Previous experience in acute eye care, good pedagogical skills, and research experience are meritorious.

Personal Qualities

You have good collaboration skills and can work independently. As a person, you are pedagogical, structured, and adaptable to the situation. You are confident in your professional role. We place great importance on personal qualities.

Employment Type

Permanent, full-time. A six-month probationary period may be applicable.
